WW - Breitling Cosmonaute 24 hour Chronograph, ref 809, manual wind, 41mm x 48mm to lug tips, 22mm lug width, original stainless steel snap back case with bi-directional slide rule bezel, sharp faceted lugs with round pump pushers, black leather strap, original black glossy reverse panda 24 hour dial with silver printed text and double jet logo at 12, tritium painted Arabic numeral indices, slide rule scale along perimeter, three inset subregisters for minute recording, hour recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J cal 178, s#1306050, triple signed. Includes original manual and letter from the original owner, a retired Canadian pilot and instructor.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; excellent-plus dial with light surface spotting; excellent white stick hands, missing luminous material in minute hand; unpolished case shows hardly any wear, still retains all of the original sharp factory finishing, no dents or dings; original Breitling signed crown shows hardly any wear; good plastic crystal.
